At the beginning of each tournament you may get an "add on" of bonus chips for the following, with a maximum total possible of 2500 in bonus chips in addition to your starting stack:
BONUS CARDS - 500 each, maximum two cards for 1000 in bonus chips. You get bonus cards by arriving at least 30 minutes early to the first tournament of the night or by winning bonus card jackpots (when the Tournament Director places bonus cards on the table for the next person who gets a straight or better, flush or better, etc.).
FIRST NIGHT CHIP - 500 in chips, one chip only. When Stars-n-Bars gets a new venue for our tournaments, we may award a First Night Chip at one of the first tournaments held at the new venue. Tournaments at which First Night chips will be awarded will be announced in advance here.
APPAREL - 500 in chips when you wear apparel with our Stars-n-Bars logo. You may win a t-shirt the first time you win a tournament (subject to availability). This bonus is a reward to you for helping us advertise Stars-n-Bars, so you must be wearing your t-shirt or hat to get your bonus. If you are wearing a shirt but our logo is not visible, you will not be awarded a bonus. We're sorry, but at this time we do not have any hats available.
HIGH HAND CHIP SET - 500 in chips when you have the complete set consisting of all three high hand chips (Quads, Straight Flush, Royal Flush). Make sure the Tournament Director verifies your hand to get your chip.
No showdown is required to win a high hand chip.
&spades QUADS: You must have a pocket pair (both your cards) of tens or higher.
&spades STRAIGHT FLUSH: At least one card in your hand must play.
&spades ROYAL FLUSH: At least one card in your hand must play.
You cannot play the board (if Quads, Straight Flush, or Royal Flush appear only in the board cards) to win a chip. Remember to alert the Tournament Director as soon as you hit your hand so you can get your chip!

&diams Bonus items lost, left at home or in your car

If you are eliminated from the tournament it may be possible for you to "rebuy" one time only by exchanging up to four bonus cards for a maximum rebuy amount of 2000 in chips.
The Rebuy period is set by the Tournament Director and may vary from venue to venue depending on each venue's specific resources, time constraints, attendance level, etc.
If a tournament is completely full, has a waiting list, or if venue time constraints are an issue, the Tournament Director may have to cancel the rebuy period for that tournament. Tournament Directors will make every effort to allow players to rebuy if possible, and we thank you for your understanding when circumstances beyond our control prevent us from doing so.

As you know, when you win your first Stars-n-Bars tournament, you receive a Session Winner t-shirt. If you win another tournament while wearing your t-shirt you will receive a light blue Player Points Chip worth 10 Player Points (these are different from regular league points).
These chips can be used in two ways:
1: You can obtain an additional t-shirt for three 10-point chips (worth 30 points)
2: You can use them as your entry fee into the Players Chip Tournament where you can win cash prizes.
The Players Chip Tournaments are scheduled periodically and will be announced on the schedule and on this page. The entry fee (number of chips required) will vary, so begin collecting as many player point chips as you can.
Remember, you can only collect them when you win a tournament while wearing your Stars-n-Bars Session Winner t-shirt, so keep playing Stars-n-Bars poker!
