STANDARD PRIZE STRUCTURE

 

Below is the standard prize structure for our nightly tournaments, our regional tournaments, and our grand prize annual tournaments.  Stars-n-Bars (SnB) reserves the right to alter the prize structure and payouts at any time and without prior notification.

 

Nightly Prizes.  All players playing in a sanctioned event will be awarded points towards qualifying for the bi-monthly regional tournament.  SnB will award nightly prizes as furnished by the venue or local sponsor subject to availability.  Nightly prizes include hats, t-shirts, venue gift certificates, and even cash prizes.

 

Quarterly Regional Prizes.  Quarterly Regional tournaments are open to all nightly tournament winners and top points earners for the calendar month.  Quarterly tournament field sizes will be set by the following: All players who win a nightly tournament are automatically entered, and the field will be filled out with the top 50 points players.  All players tied at the cutoff point total will be invited.  All players qualifying for the tournament will be notified by email, phone, in person, or regular mail.  Tournament date, time, and location will be announced with no less than 1 week notice.  Seats in the Quarterly tournament are not transferable or refundable.  Prizes to be awarded for each region bi-monthly are;

  • First place; Cash Prize!

  • Winner will receive a cash prize!  The cash prizes at the Quarterly tournaments are determined by the size of the region.  Average cash prize at a quarterly tournament is $1000.

  • Second place; Cash Prize!

  • Second place will receive a cash prize!  The cash prizes at the Quarterly tournaments are determined by the size of the region.  Average cash prize at a quarterly tournament is: $500.

  •  

  • Third Place; $200 Gift Card to Best Buy or CASH.

  • Player finishing third will receive a $200 gift card good at any Best Buy Superstore in the nation, or a cash equivelent.

 Annual Prize.  Annual tournament will be held in June of each year with the winner receiving an entry into the current years World Series of Poker Event.  Tournament will be open to the top 100 qualifiers through the bi-monthly tournaments for each region.  Prize value: $10,000.

INDEMNIFICATION

Any player registered with and playing with Stars-n-Bars Poker Series agrees to indemnify and hold SnB, its parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, officers and employees, harmless from any damages or expense, including reasonable attorneys' fees, relating to your membership in SnB or the violation of this Agreement by you.

 

DISPUTES

This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Virginia, without reference to conflict of laws principles. Venue for any disputes related to SnB shall rest exclusively in the federal and state courts of the state of Virginia, and any player registered with and playing with Stars-n-Bars Poker Series irrevocably agrees to submit to the jurisdiction thereof and waive any rights they may have to contest such jurisdiction.
